Game 6 86 at Shea was another Shea Moment. In the bottom of the 10th Mookie Wilson hit a grounder to Red Sox' first baseman Bill Buckner who had his glove down but did not grab it and let it go by him and Ray Knight scored. The score was 6-5.

Game 7Edit

This would be the last of the Series as the Mets win at Shea Stadium with a score of 8-5. This is the second Mets World Series win in team history.
