The Mets fell short by 3 runs as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Mets 4-1.

The Mets beat the Orioles to a score of 2-1. They tied up the series 1-1.

The Mets beat the Orioles to a score of 5-0 making the first shutout game of the Series. Played at Shea Stadium.

Game 4Edit

The Mets beat the Orioles to a score of 2-1 in 10 innings making it the first extra inning game of the Series. Played at Shea Stadium.

Game 5Edit

Fans were tined in to this as the Mets won their first ever World Series in Franchise History. Former manager Davey Johnson became the final batter of the Series and he flew out and made the Mets win their first World Series. Fans were screaming, jumping around and came onto the field and became so happy that the Mets won. It was the first ever shea moment in Mets history.

The score was 5-3.

The Orioles never would have won it becasue they were never into it and it seemed that they were losers all the way. The Mets were already into it the game after losing Game 1 and winning Game 2 all the way to Game 5.
